Edmark Research Compilation

Edmark Research Compilation

.

The Edmark Reading Program and the “No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.”

This Research Compilation gives an overview of the Edmark Reading Program, developed in the 1960s. It became commercially available in 1972 and has proved effective with preschool students (ages 3 to 5 years of age), elementary students having difficulty with traditional classroom reading materials, “English as a Second Language” students, and most special education students. The Edmark Reading Program should be considered for use with any student who has not learned to read.
