[Warning: CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.]
TARGET GROUP: 6-12 years
Practice a mix of Wh-questions with this best-selling game! Players roll a die to move around the colorful game board. They land on a space picturing an object, then draw a card to find out what kind of question they must ask‹who, what, when, where, why, or how‹about that object. Or, for a real challenge, have them make up an answer that would be appropriate for the question. Example: Child lands on a computer, picks a Where card, and responds, “Our computer is in the family room.”
Adjust the difficulty level by targeting all or only some of the Wh-cards. Use for question formulation, question comprehension, or explaining situations. Sample answers are listed for each word on the game board (in manual).
COMPLETE PROGRAM: Full-color board, 19.5″ x 13” ; 2 dice (one with up to 3 numerals, one with up to 6 dots); 6 tokens; 36 Wh-cards, 2.125″ x 4.25″; Manual with sample questions. (1999)
