Measures an individual’s capability on key aptitudes
DAT for Selection assesses a range of key abilities or aptitudes which are important for success in different areas of employment. Two separate components are available, the General Abilities Battery and the Technical Abilities Battery. Either battery can be used in a selection or developmental setting to identify the relative strengths of an individual.
THE GENERAL ABILITIES BATTERY COMBINES THE FOLLOWING:
• Verbal Reasoning
Understanding, reasoning and applying verbal information
• Numerical Reasoning
Understanding, reasoning and applying numerical information
• Abstract Reasoning
Identifying abstract patterns and solving problems.
THE TECHNICAL ABILITIES BATTERY COMBINES THE FOLLOWING:
• Numerical Reasoning
Understanding, reasoning and applying numerical information
• Abstract Reasoning
Identifying abstract patterns and solving problems
• Mechanical Reasoning
Understanding, reasoning and applying physical law
• Space Relations
Reasoning, forming and dissecting mental 3D models of plans and diagrams.
DAT for Selection has been specifically designed to be easy and quick to administer, score and interpret with confidence.
